1975“Central Registration Division” was established under the Academic Affairs Department, the Office of the President, to implement the registration work for the first-year students of the Faculty of Science and all divisions of the pre-med students.
1976Began registration services for all undergraduate students except Faculty of Law.
1980Began registration services for all undergraduate students.
1982“Registration and Processing Office” was established on March 5, 1982, under the Royal Decree.
1989Began registration services for all undergraduate and graduate students, excluding students of College of Public Health Sciences (formerly known as College of Public Health), Petroleum and Petrochemical College, and Sasin School of Management (formerly known as Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration).
2008Began registration services for graduate students of the College of Public Health Sciences (formerly known as College of Public Health)
2010The office was renamed to “Office of the Registration and Processing” according to Chulalongkorn University Announcement on the University Division 2009, dated December 16, 2009, and the Government Gazette Announcement, Volume 127, Special Section 16D, dated February 1, 2010.
2011The Office of the Registration and Processing was divided into 4 internal departments: 1) Student Records Department 2) Academic Registration Department 3) Information Technology Department and 4) Administration Department according to Chulalongkorn University’s Regulation on the Administration of the Office of the Registration and Processing 2011, dated April 29, 2011.
2013 The office was renamed to “Office of the Registrar” according to the Chulalongkorn University’s Regulation on the Administration of the Office of the Registrar 2013, dated June 18, 2013.
